Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actress who works on TV and in films is well known for movies such as Rush and Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra Maria Lara the sole child of Romanian film actor Valentin Platareanu. When she was 16, Alexandra played the leading character in various television dramas. The audience was impressed by her role as a character in Der Tunnel. This paved the way to other memorable roles, including Adolf Hitler's secretary of state Traudl Junge. The Reader is another Oscar nominated film that features this stunning actress. Alexandra worked on several important international and national projects over the years. This includes the British biographical feature Control Greek dramatic film The Dust of Time French historical Miniseries Napoleon, amongst others. Other roles she has held include being juror at each of the Transylvania International Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival.
